Story
Working closely with on365, Markerstudy implemented a strategic upgrade and consolidation plan for its data centres, networking systems, and electrical infrastructure. The modernisation effort included:
- Standardising on Schneider Electric Galaxy V-Series UPS and APC Smart-UPS to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Upgrading legacy electrical systems with IoT-enabled infrastructure to enhance monitoring and management.
- Deploying EcoStruxure IT Expert for advanced data-driven insights and real-time system optimisation.
- Strengthening the resilience of edge computing environments across regional offices and call centres.
Results
- Markerstudy Group has been able to establish better control over its IT and network environments, helping it to monitor and manage them for better efficiency and to lower the emissions associated with data processing and storage as well as delivering its services.
- Standardisation helps with the monitoring and management of infrastructure, reducing unforeseen service callouts, the number of spare parts needed to be held, and reducing human error which is more likely when agents are using unfamiliar software and servicing unfamiliar equipment.
