Colin Richardson
Managing Director
Colin Richardson formed on365 (known as Universal Power Systems until November 2007) in 1984 to meet the growing user demand for UPSs to be supplied with higher levels of pre and post sales support. When asked to explain the company’s success, Colin says: “The long-term commitment to customers and the integrity of our staff has set us apart from other suppliers. We have always taken a longer term view of the needs of customers rather than cutting corners to make a short term profit.”
Nigel Redel
Financial Director
After qualifying as a Chartered Management Accountant Nigel gained experience in a number of market sectors including Textiles, Engineering, Construction, Distribution and Exploration Drilling. Nigel joined on365 in 1997 and has enjoyed the many challenges that it has brought over the years. Nigel says, “It has been rewarding to have been a part of the company’s on-going development, growth and diversification into what it has become today, a leading provider of critical power and cooling services for IT.”
David Brooks
Head of Professional Services
David Brooks has over 35 years experience in the design, build, installation, operation and support of electrical and mechanical critical infrastructure for datacentres in the UK and Europe. David is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) and in partnership with APC was responsible for the introduction of the first system in Europe for the migration of standard IT equipment to higher density IT equipment loads (Blade technology) in large space Datacentres.
Carl Richardson
Technology Support Manager
Carl Richardson has over 20 years experience in designing, implementing and supporting critical building and datacentre infrastructure. He heads up the following key functions: global and key account management, project/service delivery for global accounts, product management, business development, pre-sales system and application engineering/ design, assessment services including energy optimisation and lifecycle programs.
